There is absolutely NO way Adam Jones is a better defensive player ,in any regard overall player, then Mike Trout is. Every time your tam hits a weak fly ball home run ball near center field, you hold your breath as a possibility that Mike Trout will rob a home run from that player. Ask Adam Jones teammate in J.J. Hardy, Power hitting Prince Fielder, Mariners catcher Miguel Olivo and White Sox second baseman Gordon Beckham. That is not even taking account the hits Trout is taking away on a daily basis. If a ball is hit near center field of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, there is no question that any major league hitter is holding their breath. There shouldn't be any question about whether Mike Trout was snubbed for a gold glove this year.
