The cost of college tuition has nearly doubled in some colleges since 2007, which is alarming because they sure aren't getting cheaper as years pass. To pay for their education, students instead of living on campus commute, try to balance a job with school and often are stressed. As an upcoming freshman in college I'll be responsible for paying for my education. So seeing someone trying to make it easier for me puts a smile on my face. President Obama who is running for president again this upcoming election year is trying to reduce the cost of college tuition. For that reason and many more my favorite Presidential candidate President Barack Obama have my vote this upcoming November presidential election. President Obama understands that having tuition as high as it is right now discourages students to furthering their education in the pursue for a better life and education. President Obama plans to reduce the costs of higher education by increasing the amount of federal grant money available in low-interest loans. Many people disagree with the presidents plan, but not all responses was negative on the presidents plan. Presidents of many universities are open to conversations about making college more affordable and efficient. The President's plan will boosts federal investment in the Perkins loan Program from $1 billion dollars to $8 billion dollars, colleges will be rewarded based on their success lowering tuition prices. They may not exactly have to lower tuition, preparing graduates to get jobs and repaying student loans is a way. His plan also include doubling the number of federal work-study jobs during the next couple of years. With that bait, colleges have know choice but to decrease tuition making it easier to go to college for every student who have interest in furthering their education for a better life.
